About the Maison
The ultimate Chamapgne born from history and passion.
Founded in 1845, “Cuperly” began viticulture in the early 1900s when it acquired a vineyard in Verzy, the flagship of the Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims (one of the main production areas of Champagne). Using Montagne de Reims barrels, they continue to focus on natural malolactic.

Cuperly was founded in 1845 in the village of Moumelon-le-Petit in Champagne. The vision of the first generation Charles Cupery, who named the house after his own family name with the intention of keeping the family name alive, is undoubtedly still being upheld today.

Cuperly is not a house that makes flashy Champagne. Nor does it advertise extensively around the world. However, Champagne lovers all over the world admire and love Cupery because it continues to produce high quality Champagne that is uniquely Cupery.

The quality of the house is first and foremost demonstrated by the vineyards it owns. There are 320 villages in Champagne, of which only 17 are “Grands Crus,” vineyards that are considered to be the best of the best. The “Grands Crus” were given by God for the finest terroirs in Champagne. Cuperly owns only “Grand Cru” vineyards.

Cuperly is a Champagne Maison that insists on natural production. Although they have a huge state-of-the-art facility, they stick to natural malolactic using traditional Montagne de Reims barrels. The philosophy of making wines that respect the grapes’ natural acidity is the approach that allows Cuperly to express its subtle and precise flavors.

It is a luxurious Champagne made from 100% Chardonnay, the face of the Maison. Cuperly continues to focus on natural malolactic, but furthermore, Cuperly Blanc de Blancs is made from the best Chardonnay of the Grand Cru and is aged in the cellar for more than three years.
